MM0020 – Nos Quintais do Mundo – DJ Tudo e sua gente de todo lugar (2010)
“Nos Quintais do Mundo – My community is Humanity” from DJ TUDO e sua Gente de Todo Lugar, made in Brazil, Europe and Africa, a manifesto multiculturalist. Starting from the traditional Brazilian culture to visit other backyards, through records of expressions such as Maracatu, Afoxé, Caboclinho, Congado, Embolada and Baianá, which were the basis to compose the 11 tracks of the album. To complement the mosaic of sound collages and rehearsing the verse’s maxim “When I think of the future, I do not forget the past,” he joined the backyards of Marque Gilmore, Steph Goldman, Stuart Brown, Sidewinder, Ameth Male, Duggy-Tee, Siba, Douglas Alonso, Gustavo Ruiz, Gabriel Levy, Ligiana, Marcelo Monteiro, Tulipa Ruiz, Chico Correa, Guga Santos, Rovilson Pascoal, Estevan Sinkowitz among others.
