MM0005 – Batucajé – Percussão Experimental Brasileira
Batucajé is the unique connection between 3 Brazilian percussionists acknowledged by their vast experiences into the wide territory of Brazilian rhythms. This album is the outcome of a collective co-creation process with an experimental percussive behaviour. Batucada is a rhythmic celebration where the percussion set is a human vital and mundane sound tool. Robertinho Silva, Simone Soul and Jadna Zimmermann great musical affinity was a strong impulse to this work, conceived and recorded at Terreiro du Passo studios, owned by bass player, DJ, producer and researcher Alfredo Bello in São Paulo from 2002 to 2004.
